Restaurante Ceboleiros - Aveiro

Ceboleiros is a family run restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The owner quickly found a table for us and provided us with a menu, and the a good selection of Portuguese starters olives, two different types of cheeses, good bread and butter. We had no trouble finding something which we liked on the menu and between the four of us we ordered two different types of meat and codfish. As well as some of the house white wine. We were all quite pleased with our meals. The cook on the meat was correct. The fish was as good as we have had while on vacation. We especially liked the salad! Which was quite simple but was dressed so well that we even ordered a second platter. They offer a variety of desserts, although I was disappointed that there wasn't much of a choice of fresh fruit. My teens have been taste testing chocolate mousse in every restaurant we have gone to in Portugal and this one was to their liking. The bill was much higher than we have generally had to pay in Portugal. Usually we have found the prices for a dinner for 4 to be more contained. Tonight we paid a bit more than 110 euro.
