Burgers On Parade - AVALON BEACH

Really delicious and fresh burgers! Came here with my family on the weekend and found this gem of a spot. Good old milkbar vibes. The chicken and beef burgers were freshly grilled with fresh lettuce, tomato and onion. Chips were piping hot with chicken salt. The burgers and baguettes was beautiful

There was only one man working and he wasn’t wearing any gloves. The condition of the shop was appalling and the floor was covered in food. After 30 minutes of waiting, I had to remind the man to make my burger.

The guy that runs the place has no idea of customer service. He shouted at a girl who works for him for getting my order wrong (and undercharging me) then he started shouting at me! He’s mad. I felt very sorry for the girl, she looked almost in tears. He accused me of stealing a can of coke that I had ordered. I didn’t know it could be so infuriating buying a burger! There is a much better burger place 2 minutes walk around the corner where they understand customer service. I strongly recommend walking past this place to Sunset Diner.

I paid $20 for a very ordinary chicken burger combo and I can say that I will not be returning here to eat. Firstly, the burger was brought out without chips, so I had to go back up to the counter and ask for them. I ordered the burger with chilli which I couldn’t taste, and the chicken was extremely dry (chilli would’ve done wonders). Egg was over cooked. Overall the burger lacked any flavour other than the dry chicken, bacon and over-cooked egg. If you can’t get the main ingredients right, then normally you’d attempt to hide them with a nice sauce or a marinade. But this wasn’t done either. For $10 I probably would’ve copped all these downfalls, but the price tag of $20 for such a lack lustre meal really stung me, and motivated me to write this review. I honestly would’ve preferred McDonald’s. Be sure to consider other options before dining here

Went here for breakfast. Staff very friendly bacon and egg rolls hot and tasty with lean bacon. Drinks great too. Will definitely come here again.
