Le Chalet Suisse

We spent a week in the beautiful village of Autrans. We visited Le Chalet Suisse 3 times during our stay. Warm welcome every time by Diane and Arnaud, wonderful selection of dishes, efficient service. We went twice as a couple and the third time with some French friends. This is an excellent restaurant and I highly recommend it. Wonderful food, warm ambience: winning combination!

We visited this restaurant with our daughter, son in law and two grandchildren, we were made to feel very welcome once we arrived. We sat quickly on a window table with beautiful views of the village. Menus arrived and orders for... Dinner drinks while we choose our dinner. All tastes were covered, the guys chose pizzas and the adults selected from the set 3 course menu. I had the best fish soup I had in a very long time. My daughter is vegetarian and was very happy with the choice. We have eaten our meal when the couple on the next table had the speciality of the house, broths that have a selection of meat, mushrooms, tomatoes and onions on a sword. The men and boys of the party decided that we would return next night to try this specialty. We were very happy with the food and service on both evenings.

Have eaten here alone with the family, usually for lunch. Offers a complete lunch menu (street, main plate, desert, etc. with around 15 euros. Your stomach will be full, but that's the point. Pizzas have plenty of cheese (too much, and frits, a bit too salty for my children. My daughter didn't finish the chocolate mousse... My wife commented that her steak was much advanced... The service is very friendly.

Attentive service in this no nonsense restaurant. Excellent pizza after hard skiing. All food cooked to order and the fish was nice. Very friendly and happy to wear with us while we experiment with our French!

Rien a dire Bon accueil. Pizza tres bonne Service rapide. La prochaine fois nous essaierons la brochette de bœuf 400 grammes. Je conseille les yeux fermés.
