Very good eating a great steak. very cheap. the service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was very busy. would eat there again.

Very frisssable eating. good atmosphere and pleasant staff. I think it's great in summer time. good parking.

We have already eaten here as we stay on the nearby camping site on our way home. the greeting is friendly, but we speak French, which undoubtedly helps! there is a well balanced menu with fixed price dinner from Eu15.50 to Eu20.50,...all with three curses. we enjoyed gratinated scallops, the small brown garnels and mushrooms, and a grilled salmon, both delicious. hauptkurs was a steak fries while I had laughs in a lemon butter sauce with rice and veg, again excellent. desserts creme brulee and, for a small supplement, caffe gourmande. worth is excellent and we were very happy with a half bottle macon village wein, 2014 vintage- so mature and complex. helpful hint- can also be booked for weeks as the restaurant was full on a Friday night.

Frequented by locals but don't expect freshly cooked authentic French food. Lots of the dishes are available in local supermarkets. Having said this, worth a visit.

We visited yet again in June with granddaughter and had a lovely meal. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food is excellent quality. I asked for mussels but was told they were not yet in season. I like that. When my partner...and I returned for our usual Bastille Day visit, they asked after our granddaughter, which was a lovely touch. THIS time, I had mussels and they were superb. And I had the same dessert as in June sorbet with the local Genièvre de Houlle. And this is someone without a sweet tooth! Delicious. We just love the atmosphere and the fact that this is a local restaurant which entertains only a few tourists. And it is very reasonably priced.
