Thundercloud Subs - Austin

This is a great hide-a-way place downtown to get a cheap lunch that is healthy and taste great!! Convenient to dine inside (if they're not too busy), or to pick up an go. The staff are friendly, helpful, and give the feeling that they appreciate your business.

I love when avocado is standard on a sub, not extra cost! ThunderCloud is way better than Subway and better than WhichWich! Fresh and delicious. Great meat, veggies and bread. All around awesome!

Just want to thank the staff at Thundercloud subs on Nueces! It was my first time there and they were super kind and the food quality was awesome! Definitely shout out to Ernie, Laura, and Theddeus!!!

I grew up in Austin. I've been eating Thundercloud Subs since I was a kid in the seventies. This places in Austin staple I have always loved this place great food great people always a great atmosphere. Am I biased? Yes I am so what.

All of the employees were wearing pajamas..? This didn't make me feel like my food is going to be sanitary. Also one of the employees aggressively told a customer to get in line and that he's seen her around so she should know where the line starts. She said this was actually her first time. It was very awkward.
