The Bonneville - Austin

I truly hope that this restaurant flourishes and maintains its quality. I feel that it lacks some vibrancy. Both times I have dined here...

The New Year's Dinner had some precious stones of the cannon cadeau and the truffle mushroom soup. However, the profiterole were dry (we often have them at the chez nous where they are absolutely beautiful), the risotto was watery, and no coffee or espresso was included with dessert. total the dinner was overpriced for $85 per person definitiw. the location is great and service very friendly, so we will try their a la carte menu to see if it is better.

That was my second time to bonneville and was very excited about the NYE menu. it was just my friend and I. our reservation was at 7:30 o'clock. we had a very tacky high table. the service was very slow. I saw my wein sitting at least 10 minutes on the bar before the waiter finally brought it here. at 9:15 o'clock we had to finally get our neck and not get our dessert because we had a show to go. the waiter has not even offered to reduce our bill. I also heard that he told the table near us that the restaurant had a dae probleme and that they were last night short workers. I rarely complain, but at this one night. especially with a pre-fixed menu there is no reason that the restaurant should not be prepared. very enthusiastic about our experience.
