La Vallarta - Austin

I have been coming to Vallarta for over 20 years! I moved out of Austin 7 years ago and still make special trips just for their food. Hands down the BEST green chicken enchiladas I have ever eaten and their chips and salsa is always on point! It looks like a hole in the wall but it is the best!

Me, my grandmother and my late grandfather had always enjoyed this restaurant. They have very good foods, and not only that, with the major amount of tex-mex restaurants around, it's hard to find a place with authentic Mexican food, and this place has it all covered. Thanks for the amazing food and amazing memories y'all!

This quaint little restaurant is really good ! I had their beef enchiladas. The service was great as well.

Great place if you enjoy true Mexican food. Competitive prices. Very friendly service. You can call ahead to place an order to go if you wish.

I went to eat lunch yesterday and ordered the porkchop breakfast and they said I couldn't order breakfast so I ordered a bistec ranchero and I thought something tasted funny but I kept eating my sides and occasionally took a bite of the meat that tasted funny. I've been throwing up and running to the RR since then. I have came here for 20+ years but yesterday was definitely my last time. There were several factors that went into the decision, not just this. Rundown with service that doesn't make you feel welcoming, they no longer do the tomatillo sauce because the waitress said it went bad(what a coincidence).
