Sushi Zushi of the Domain - Austin

Food was alright, not great. Service was rushed and not courteous., rude.

The waiter completely forgot about us. We watch 3 tables get there appetizers and meal before we even got our appetizers. Then they told us an hour later that our food was next to come up. We decided just to leave and get food else where

Sushi Zushi has undergone some changes recently. The restaurant now has very few waitstaff to attend to all the customers they seat. Despite having a reservation, it was clear that we would need to sit at the bar. The quality of the food has declined, but the staff are still great - they are doing their best, but there seems to be something lacking overall.

The place smelled like carpets had not been cleaned in forever

I took my boyfriend to this restaurant for his birthday, hoping for a great experience at a new place. Unfortunately, we did not receive proper attention from the server, who seemed to be overwhelmed. The quality of the food was also disappointing, with rice that tasted old, incorrect menu descriptions, small portions, and a missing sashimi dish that never arrived despite waiting for an hour. We had to ask for it to be taken off the bill. Additionally, we were unsure of the charges as we did not receive a receipt and had to check our bank statements to confirm.
