Pho Tin - Austin

We were lucky that we got the nice server. Dumplings were excellent and the beef carrot and rice and it's the Thaison delight. The taro smoothie was excellent.

Nope... management does not care. When you walk in at dinner time and you're the only one, walk back out. Egg roll looked like it was a week old. They just need someone in there that cares.

A so-so place to dine in unless you have no other choice. I give it 2 star mostly for its location, which is only positive about this establishment I can think about. Not like other Pho shop, this one offers one size only, and it is way over-charged. The soup is not really an authentic Vietnamna's style, but tasteless. It provides only one dish of vegetables for us, rather than a dish for each person. It claims it is authentic Viet cuisine, the food tastes quite different from a true Viet restaurant. Won't go back for sure.

I was so excited to try some authentic Vietnamese food in the Austin area. I saw this place while waiting on my car was getting serviced. My Dad and I came in to grab a quick bite to eat. The food wasn't bad but wasn't worth how much it was priced. I tried my Dads meal (beef lemongrass) and it was pretty good but wasn't a fan of mine (crispy egg chicken). The service honestly wasn't the best . We were greeted by the server while she was seated and eating her lunch. She just stayed seated and pointed to our table from a far, then eventually paused to give us some menus. We did feel like we were being rushed out when she did finish eating. The food didn't meet my expectations but I would come back and just order something else next time.

My wife and I used to frequent this place before their name change, but as another review mentioned there seems to have been a shift in the cleanliness of this establishment. Last week we went to eat and while finishing our meal, the restaurant had cleared out of a few other customers and we noticed a small roach on the wall next to us. Surveying the half wall between dining areas there were quite a few more small roaches emerging from the wall next to us. I guess we have to find another Pho restaurant. My recommendation- clean up your dining room, get a pest control company in to fix this. Makes you wonder how gross HopDoddy is next door...
