Bidra med feedbackI had an incredible dining experience at the Peruvian restaurant. The ceviche was fresh and bursting with flavors, while the aji de gallina had the perfect balance of spice and creaminess. The arroz chaufa was a delightful blend of textures and aromas. The dessert stole the show – alfajores and suspiro limeño were a heavenly finale. Impeccable service and an authentic culinary journey! Denise was great!
Nice authentic Peruvian and very close to other cool spots like AFS. Worth checking out as Peruvian options are limited in Austin!
Lima Criolla first opened when I lived in Austin the first time several years ago. It was quiet then, but with delicious food and great service. Now, it’s always busy and for good reason. The food is still delicious for a reasonable price, great service and warm and inviting atmosphere.
The restaurant was clean and spacious although we were sat close to the bar where it seemed we were sitting next to where the service sat.(plenty of convos we didn't need to hear). We ordered the mixture ceviche with Jalea, and causa limeño. The ceviche was fresh and the causa was very good, but the jalea, was extremely salty. Almost like someone had made a mistake in the recipe. An ok experience.
Absolutely everything we had was amazing. Very much recommend the mixto ceviche and the lomo saltado .. we were stuffed otherwise we would have tried more, will be going back again for sure!
