Bidra med feedbackThis rating should not stop you from stopping by and try this place out. My rating is only based on the one dish that I had, I will come back to try the other. I went here for dinner, had bun bo hue, it didn't hit the spot. It was not the traditional dish that I had thought. The broth was tomato based, or at least it that's what stands out. Definitely an interesting spin on it. The flavor was kind of bland, at least for me it was. The noodles was perfect as far as texture and firmness. The meat was different as well, but I like it, fresh and tender. Side note, I saw other customers had other dishes, and basically cleaned their plate.
Great atmosphere, food is a little over priced and definitely don’t recommend takeout as there is a separate service and packaging fee
The steamed rice roll with shrimp has me coming back weekly, but generally haven’t been disappointed yet. The shrimp yam fritters are generous. The nuoc cham with the Bun is a little strong, but it’s just their style; I appreciate that they have their own take on it. You can always ask for extra lime a little chili sauce/simple syrup if you want to even out the salty/spicy/sweet for your personal taste.
This restaurant is definitely a charming spot for a great Vietnamese breakfast with French notes. I really like their menu, and it is undoubtedly one of the best places for Sunday brunch. Be ready for a wait if you plan to visit on weekends because it is a really popular place. We ordered Bahn Mi #23, a truly delicious sandwich with pork belly in a soft and crispy house-baked baguette. We also ordered Pho 30A, which was delicious, and the broth was full of flavor. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate eclair and paired it with Mocha and Vietnamese Coffee. If you have a taste for condensed milk, be sure to try the Vietnamese Coffee – it's sure to please your palate.
Pho was good. Service was good (this was with a toddler in tow). Beignets were PHENOMENAL. Seriously — I can’t stop thinking about them.
