Chick'ncone - Austin

Great food, BUT i don't appreciate how they pick and choose when they want to be open. I've been calling for 4 days straight now and absolutely NO RESPONSE when they're website says open. Please make this make sense. I even drove up there during open hours and they were closed. ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!

Went with a friend today. We got the mac and cones. I always enjoy a self service kiosk, so that was a welcome surprise at the counter. The staff was friendly and service was quick and efficient. Surprisingly small portions for the price, but it was pretty good. They mixed the sauce with the mac and cheese, which was an interesting touch. The food was tasty enough, but I wouldn’t say it was worth the $14 we paid for it. My friend got a milkshake, and neither of us were very impressed with it as it was pretty watery and didn’t have much flavor. Overall, decent food with an interesting presentation but I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily worth the price once the novelty has worn off.

Great place and excellent idea having chicken in ice cream style cones...

Interesting concept, but do not order to-go chick'n cone from here! It tastes good but gets soggy in the to-go box.

The people were lovely and their food is even better. I'd definitely recommend if you wanted to go a little out of your comfort zone to try a new thing.
