Chicken Salad Shoppe - Austin

KILLER cheese tortellini! But unfortunately, we ordered the james bahn and the apricot chicken salad sandwiches, and there was a drastic difference in the way they were made. The apricot one had barely anything on it, it was mostly just (very) sadcroissant. The james bahn, however, was overloaded like crazy. Good flavors, just wish my sandwich had been worth what I paidfor it. ????

Food was awesome! Finding the place less so. I finally called from the parking lot and got directed to ?The Howdy Cafe? The MeeMaw sandwich is off the hook. The bread was a croissant shaped/Brioche texture hybrid. I loved it. The chicken salad wasextraordinary and there was a generous portion of lettuce to balance bread and saucy goodness. Perfect sandwich! Wish curbsideworked better or that their signs were more parking lot facing. I was driving when I ordered so I didn?t see the reviews withdirections until I already called and got the lowdown. Really worth the effort to find it, though. Great, great food.

Very Friendly service. Also super fast service. The shop is tucked inside furniture mall of Texas. They have free cookies for customer to enjoy. The chicken salad was very unique and tasty. They have options other than chicken salad. Fun to browse aroundthe store while you wait for your food if you are picki g up food. They also have indoor and outdoor seating.

I wish I knew about this place sooner. I ordered the big blue chicken salad at it was delicious! I also got a Reese?s peanut butter cookie, and it was super good. Highly recommend and I will be back, thanks for the awesome customer service as well.

This is my favorite takeout/PU/delivery place during the pandemic! Unlike most takeout foods, this can be healthy as well as tasty and well made. I always get a scoop of 1 of the chicken salad options on a salad. But there are sandwiches too. I'mhappy that there isn't too much mayo and they have a bit of mustard in there too. It's well located: on Burnet Rd., south ofAnderson Lane and north of Koenig/2222. Bet you'll find something your like!
