Bidra med feedbackI love me some Cheba Hut. The subs are really good. Last time I got the meatball sub though and the meatballs kind of tasted like the ones that come in a can of Chef Boyarde. Probably won’t order that one again but I went out on a limb with that order anyways because I never get meatball subs. All of the other ones I’ve had have been great. I also love how all of the names and sizes revolve around weed. The bar has a pretty awesome beer selection and there is indoor and outdoor bar seating. The service is always prompt and the food is quick. Great spot too if you’ve got the munchies ;)Vegetarian options: There are veggie subs and salads.Parking: There’s a parking lot across the street from the entrance.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome.
With gourmonds gone, this is the best sandwich in Austin. We've been to several locations and love this one. Super cool art, people are friendly and a rad happy hour. Weekly
Food here is great but service and hospitality is questionable. After a workout I came here with friends to eat (which we’ve been doing lately because we enjoy the food). My friend got a water cup and filled it with WATER. At the end of enjoying our meal he comes up with me so I can refill my drink. He finished his water and decided to to try a quick splash of grape koolaid in his water cup (he did NOT fill his up with it). He just wanted to taste a little and let me know I should get that one (I had a regular sized up). A worker then walks by and says to my friend you can’t do that you have a water cup. To which my friend replied I was just trying the flavor because it’s grape and the worker rudely replied I know I saw you, you can’t do that. I don’t know why they are so stingy about a little sip. We ALWAYS tip on every meal and are respectful and recommend this place to our friends (for the food). That 3 dollars will just go to a regular sized drink instead of tipping now.
Friendliest staff in town! Excellent customer service! Delicious food! Inside and outside seating.Vegetarian options: Plenty of options.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options for all diets.Parking: Parking garage to park in. Easy in and out to both streets.
The food is great. There are a shortage of really good sandwich places in Austin IMO. Even the veggie sandwiches here are flavorful. At least the Grief is. I've tried that and the pizza sub. Both were pretty dang good.
