Bidra med feedbackWe waited along with another lady and her daughter to be greeted at the host stand. No one ever showed up. We left after standing there for 10 minutes with various employees just shining us on. Maybe the host was abducted by aliens. Or decided to go shopping.
I remembering going to this CPK location years ago. It's a little worn down, but still has good food and service. We stopped in for a quick snack before heading over to the greenbelt. We ordered the avocado club egg rolls and the Buffalo cauliflower. I could tell our waitress had a lot of tables, but she was really working hard and she was nice every time she stopped by our table. The egg rolls came out piping hot full of chicken, cheese, avocado, and veggies. The Buffalo cauliflower was surprisingly good, I simply wish there was more of it. We're talking cauliflower, not chicken wings. Anyway, the flavors were good and service was on top of it.
Wow! I haven't been inside a CPK for like 5 years! The menu is so diverse. I ordered Banh Mi Power Bowl and it has some crazy ingredients! Ask for extra sauce because you will need it it's sorta Asian inspired and healthy, so maybe not for everyone. For $8, I added a Thai Chicken Take and Bake pizza that I can cook at home at another time.
Had lunch here with the gf. We started with the artichoke dip and Dynamite shrimp. Artichoke dip was okay but not great. Dynamite shrimp was great although it rested on a bed of undressed slaw which was kind of weird because no one eats undressed coleslaw. We shared the BBQ Chicken Pizza with Bacon and Pineapple and Garlic Cream Pasta. The pizza was had tossed and it was okay. The pasta was not creamy at all and really had no flavor whatsoever. Needed a lot more sauce. GF said the ranch for pizza had kind of a pickle hint to it which I thought was weird. Overall food was pretty disappointing but we still left full. Service was phenomenal in my opinion. I believe our Servers name was Juan. He mentioned how he came early to his shift and was put straight to work. Was not super busy when we first sat but started picking up and he never seemed to skip a beat as he was getting sat with tables left and right. To top it off, the manager sent the hostess on break which was pry the right thing to do as it was 3 pm ish. This did not prevent our server from picking up the slack. Looking around he seemed to go above and beyond for all the tables he dealt with. When we asked him for recommendations he gave great advice about several of the items we were looking at. Guessing if we would have listened to his advice about getting the chicken piccata instead of the garlic pasta we would have been much more satisfied . Overall pretty sub par food but they have at least one great server.
We went to a CPK after a long time after leaving the west coast and the experience was truly middling. The service was okay nothing special and the pizzas were quite ordinary nothing to write home about. I cannot blame anything but do not feel energized to visit again.
