Bidra med feedbackI was at the Bertram inn and tried to make a pick-up order. No answer from the restaurant twice. So I went down personally and could place an order with a server. Then I sat and waited for 30 minutes for the sushi bar before I finally asked where my food was and was told that it was ready and was given to me. I'm pretty sure they forgot me. I'll come back to the room with my food and just open it to find out that they have completely forgotten my son's hot dog. So I go back to the restaurant and I have to wait 10 minutes for the hot dog. Finally, when we all sit and eat the food, my wife and I both tried the spaghetti squash entree and it tasted like we eat solidified white wine. I'm pretty sure it should have a white wine glazing on her or something, but that literally tasted as if she just crashed the spaghetti queen in white wine and put it in our to-go box. The salmon was meh, the brussel sprouts were decent, the tempura asparagus was decent, and the hot dog was probably the best item that was ordered. The fries that came with the hot dog were blanching and unseasonal. Even if you're in a bind while you stay at this hotel, I'd rather get snacks from the reception than eating again in this restaurant.
Worst Pizza I had no cheese in my life, no sauce, no toppings, go to Aldi for $6.
The ribs ordered. We're from Chicago and know good ribs. Paw's ribs are the best ribs we've left since we left Chicago 25 years ago. Meat was perfectly cooked, sauce was excellent, they were not dry, and serving was generous. We shared a complete rack and had leftovers. (Should offer 1/2 rack option). We called out the boss and thanked him personally... they were so amazing! Thanks for a great dinner!
I am a very understanding individual and have worked in the food industry. But that was the worst culinary experience I ever had. At the beginning my fish sandwich had the skin on it, so I gave it back, but there was nothing offered to replace it. My wife $20 chicken salad was raw salad from grocery store with a watt chicken (uncut). Can I? ve made this at home for $3. Another person had cold potatoes and broccoli. Some people got their dinner 20-30 minutes before others and the first were those who got the grilled cheese. Why in the world would you cook that first when you know? We as the guests ended the ones that all fill water up again, otherwise I would still wait to fill it again. There was only one waitress to cover the bar, food, and it was for a 85. Birthday celebration for around 20-25 people (we were the only ones there). If you cannot handle the party size, you should not have accepted to host; and this is a management problem. Very disappointed in a place where you can charge an arm and a leg to just eat there. That's the definition of tearing people off. You're supposed to eat what you pay for and me? the road went to McDonalds and paid them the prizes I was charged. It is a shame that such a beautiful place does not meet the expectations of prices on their menu. I will never come to this place again and I hope others think twice before they decide to open their wallets and eat here.
Great food, great service, priced right for the quality. The environment is relaxing. It has never been so crowed I couldn't get a table.
