Baldwins Restaurant - Aurora

Went here for a Birthday lunch. There were four of us. Sat out on the patio. service was good and very friendly. food was a little slow in coming and it wasnt busy. once it came it was very good.

I love the historical building this pub is in. Very charming and great atmosphere. Service is really friendly. And pub food is good.

Truly the worst server you will ever see. Only people on the deck. Had to goto the bar to order. After 10 minutes drinks came. Never returned to take order.

I've been frequenting Baldwin's for years. It's had its ups and downs like most restaurants do whilst staff transitions or management does. It's a great place. The food is consistently good and the staff is attentive. We often book parties here because they are really accommodating and super helpful. Some of the negative reviews are just pure garbage quite frankly. Give them the benefit of the doubt seriously. The fact of the matter is that people often would rather leave negative reviews rather than positive ones. In the last 5 months my friends and I have booked 3 parties there... does that seem like the type of thing one would do if it was terrible? Not at all right? Give them a chance.

The place has a great location, great opportunity but lacks awareness of itself while presuming it is a silk purse, which it could be, however it remains a sow's ear.
