Subway - Augusta

We feel truly fortunate to have a spot where we can enjoy refreshments while overlooking Harper Street. It's a perfect place to relax and wait for my husband to pick me up after my doctor’s appointment.

The food was excellent and the service was good. I would have given it a full five stars, but the restaurant was extremely busy with long lines and appeared to be understaffed. The place was very clean. I ordered the spicy Italian sub with double meat—while I've never complained about having too much meat in a sandwich before, this one was piled high. Since it was toasted, the oils from the meat soaked into the nine-grain wheat bread. It was a delicious sandwich, but next time I think I'll go for the deluxe option instead, which has one and a half times the meat.
