Bidra med feedbackUnfortunately, this place really went downhill. We went to the jubilee dinner. The plates were about $30 each. I ordered the Prime Rib (rare) and after 40 minutes it came on each side white, and pink in the middle, the top was also burned? To be honest, I thought they made a mistake and made pork. I suppose it was frozen and they froze it. I just ate it and got sick when I got home! I was really disappointed at the price we paid. Too expensive. The drinks were great! I remember how great it was when I grew up a child, but definitely not anymore. The restaurant could really have some updates as well as it?s exactly the same as it for 10 years.
The food wasn't too bad, calamari was a bit chewy but otherwise delicious. The steak was cooked wonderful but the asparagus was undercooked and still very crunchy, they offered to switch it out but I didn't like any of the other dishes they had. They say us in the very back of the restaurant where there was one other family with a very rambunctious child, kind of ruined date night. Otherwise not bad.
The new pot stickers were fabulous, light and tender and beautiful, Oysters super fresh, seafood medley great as always, honey soy and parmesan crusted scallops were both big hits. We ended happily with the chocolate mousse and triple berry meringue. It was quiet and the server was very pleasant and attentive. It was a very successful birthday dinner.
Amazing holiday buffets. Didn't get many pics but went here for nye. They also do Sunday brunches.
Whatever you do, don't go during off hours. We went at about 2pm on a Friday unfortunately. Service was really bad. I felt like we were just an annoyance to the wait staff. The silverware had water spots, and the bathroom smelled bad. The pastry chef (said that on his jacket) had to come out and tell the hostess to seat us. I had crab cakes. The plate looked pretty but the crab cakes themselves were too wet. It was more like a crab salad fritter. This place is better for dinner and special occasions.
