Brauhaus 1516 - Augsburg

Location of the pension is located directly at the main station of augsburg and is therefore not to be missed. the surrounding brewhouse 1516 is the largest living room of augsburg. Here the best bands from the region and without entry (only 20% surcharge on drinks.) there is a stage with numerous lights that serves for further seating without a stage picture. Lounge corners with white leather pads provide a noble ambiente. who likes it rustic takes on long naked tables and benches or on a small round-empore, to which it goes on two wooden stages and on which one has the best views. theke is huge, like everything in this brewhouse. a huge lighter hangs centrally in the room and in the evening radiates the ceiling painting that draws the distance from augsburg to the whole world. the copper brewing boiler radiates throughout its burst and the copper lines decorate the entire space. already if they enter, they can store over the size of the locality. service through the wide range is also the service staff not always attentive. it took a certain time until we were perceived at all. when this hurdle was overcome, it was quite firm. there is a week card with daily changing dresses on this Monday was the court (meat box with eierspätzlen but already out. the brewhouse map in the form of a timeline offers predominantly Bavarian specialties. from the daily dish we change spontaneously to the sausage salad according to brauer art with alpenkas (7.70€) this was served in a one-mach glass and included lyoner city sausage with vinegar, rapeseed oil, mild red wimpers, an edgy gurke and radishes. the added 2 slices of broth were unfortunately no longer fresh, which should be healthy, but unfortunately not tasted. as a second dish we took the roburschen schnitzel (10,50€ . the carving lay in a dark pears sauce and as a supplement there were crawling speckles with bratkartoffeln from the pan. the carving was a bit too fried, but not dry, so everything fits. as a third court we dared with pommes the currywurst. (8,50€ . the teufelscurrywurst is available in 6 levels. we chose the atemblocker: sharp sauce from chili and Habanero mix. actually, she was very sharp. next time I'll choose a few steps less. the delicious meckkatzer dark beer had to keep clear. Conclusion: guesthouse with great ambiente

We had to wait for our waiter to come for almost 30 minutes we were trying to ask for a catalogue and he was just ignoring us ! After we ordered and the food came he had forgotten one plate and made another one wrong.......20 minutes later the forgotten plate, which is a burger , and it was fully burned , completely black and burned.... we returned the burger immediately and asked to pay to leave ... he didn’t want us to leave because it was an honest mistake ... we got into a verbal Fight that we didn’t want to bring another burger and bring the bill .... 10 minutes later he brought a new burger and demanded us to eat it because it was what we ordered.... we refused to eat it and asked at last to pay everything besides the burger ... that he has once forgotten and once burned .... the waiter who was also the manager as he self claimed was completely against it... He only allowed us that after we asked him to call the police , when he denied we asked another waitress to call the police, then and only then he accepted to not charge the burger ! Worst possible scenario ever experienced in our entire life ....! Worst waiter Manager ever found in the universe

Nice staff, nice pub and very good beer located at the central station. Enjoyed it very much. Recommended!

In a full restaurant there were only on waiter and one person in the bar. We had to wait a long time to order drinks, then food and then even longer to get our food The waiter was not very nice since he was stressed...out and didn't have time to listen when we ordered. The food were really bad. Asked for well done meat the meat I got was rare. The burger tasted liked it was microwaved (very dry). The waiter didn't come back to our table until it was time to pay the bill. The wine and the dining area was good but thats all I can say was good about that place.
