Sonnbergstube - Auggen

For more than 30 years we spend one or more times a year in a beautiful eye. Many locals here and in the surrounding villages we have seen the coming and going. And over the years, many, once cozy wine shops have turned into Italian or Asian restaurants. And those who still offer regional dishes with regional wines are becoming more and more expensive, and often the quality does not match the prices. Since we have already tried much for more or less satisfaction and even want to eat only regionally, we are always a little in search of whether you can find half a cheap and yet good place. Mr B. proposed the Sonnbergstube. This is the club of FC Auggen, beautifully located on the edge of the village, with terrace and views of the opposite sports field and the vineyards. Here he already saw a big TV on the wall when I wanted to see a nice movie at the hotel. Here the menu is examined and they are well-founded. Nice choice for a sports restaurant, some under 10 euros, the most expensive food for 13.50 euros. This time we landed here. Probably just finished a game, the terrace sat fully sweaty football player with appendix. The interior is decorated with cups, very clean, a large counter and large tables to which many guests fit. Mr. B. and I were the only ones who were ordered by a decently friendly hostess hunter and pork carving with Spätzle and Salat. The host, at the same time cook, disappeared quickly in the kitchen, and you heard him knock the meat, so nothing prefabricated, that was already good. Appropriate time later he served friendly, frying the late zle in the pan, natural scavenger with appropriate sauce and some salad leaves with on the plate. Actually, it was very good for us, only with the sauces we agreed that was clearly too much Maggi inside. She also left an oily support on the plate. Tourists don't get lost here, we were tried by local footballers and fans. Conclusion: You can go, our food with 13.50 per serving is cheap. The football ambience did not bother me, nor did the TV run with a game, but it is certainly nothing for every taste. Good three stars are good for me.
