The Shucker Brothers - Auckland

Go to Shucker Brothers. The service was great, the waiters were SO MUCH FUN, the food was served so quickly that it surprised my partner and the food itself was just perfection. Try the specials when they have them. We had this buttery, spicy Crayfish ravioli that was amazing! The way the butter would be soaked into the pasta to get to the beautiful cancer bundle of goodness inside and the spices would be a nice kick and excitement for the dish was just beyond words. But then the butter would help to soothe some of the spices, made the dish so delicious. The cancer ravioli was the best dish I had in a very long time. Definitely recommend the oysters (natural; so fresh and the mignonette was beautiful, Kingfish crudo (loved the balance of the fruits with the fish, mussels (the broth). So good. and the other special they had this night, Scallops (so pillows soft and beautiful The Shucker brothers did not knock it out of the park, they beat it out of this planet. I'll see you every time I get to Auckland. (I miss you ravioli.)

Great place, quick service and delicious food! Everything was really good, but I especially recommend the shrimps and grilled oysters. Will definitely come back!

The oysters are so fresh, beautiful. Someone mentioned oysters and hack, they are completely different league for oysters, shovel brothers so much better. The only alternative we were is depot.

Had lunch here and it was very tasty! We had the oysters from Waiheke, grilled prawns, smoked Kahawai croquettes, and seafood chowder! The bubbly waitress explained the menu and suggested things! The food was yummy yum specially the croquettes and prawns! Definitely will go back again!
