Bidra med feedbackLovely people, opened early for us. The traditional Indian food was stunning. However the butter chicken may as well have been a desert it was SO sweet. Wonderful service. I'd happily go back but please tone down the sugar, it's so unnecessary.
$10 for wide range of mains byo. Works out a really economical dinner but really, really yum. I had 26 guests only negative remark was that their dish could have been more (spicy) hot. Can't wait to go back again. Only issue to be aware of is that there is limited parking my advice is to arrive slightly early park on the street
We really enjoy going to dinner here. The new owners are attentive and helpful. Food great and had a lovely chat about the history of a dish with our waiter. Think locals should give these new owners a second tryout.
Was easy to order and hands down the best meal I've had from them; I had Lamb Korma possibly one of the best I've ever eaten With lamb naan simply outstanding And a mango lassie that was exquisite Well done guys loved it!
It's was our first visit we tried the banquet and was given very generous portions. The entrees were a standard Indian sizzling platter without any surprise. The mains were fabulous. Creamy butter chicken, flavourful vindaloo, a tasty rogan josh and a vegetarian something I can't remember. when we asked for spicy, we were given the option of Kiwi hot or Indian hot and opted for the latter. Good thing for our high tolerances! Overall, the atmosphere was good, quiet and tidy. The food was delicious (and perhaps under priced at 30 per person for an entree, 4 mains, naan and the condiments) with perhaps the only disappointment being the condiments. Yogurt in they riata tasted like mayo and the chutney tasted like a jam spread. But who goes there for the condiments....
