Fortuna Buffet - Auckland

For a tourist attraction location buffet the prices are actually quite good! Also, usually buffets type have mediocre food, and the drawer is that you can eat as much as you want it, but we really enjoyed many of the things on the line, especially the butter chicken!! For desserts, the caramel disc and the reefs were my favorites.

Yesterday evening (2022-6-23), for dinner, $40 per person, the food was pretty good, it has many different meats, shrimps, hot dishes and dessert. Really worth the price, and the service was also good. Would like to go back there in the future.

The lady who served us at the reception was great and very courteous for me and my family. I had got the time wrong and we came 30 minutes too late, she saw how embarrassing and worried I became about my mistake and expanded our time to the full 90 minutes serving time. If everything she has done at the beginning of our experience is joyful and credible. The lady who brought us to our table was also courteous and easy to talk. She also had a lot of humor. When I asked where I could find a booster seat for my baby, another lady who seemed busy at the time insisted that she quickly get one for me, said with a quiet smile. The food was delicious, oysters were perfection. I recommend the marinated pork ribs. The dessert, although few options, was creamy, sweet, moist, delicious and satisfying. The ambience was warm and although busy, very spacious and welcoming. Overall a great experience and would recommend everyone and everyone completely. Thanks, the Fortuna team for our night.

Saturday dinner. It costs almost 60 nzd. A little expensive... There we were at 6:00. I like the encircled dessert(but chocolate cake and oreo cake is toooo sweet that I can't even finish one... and the sauce for butter chicken. Had tomatoes, spinich and broccoli for vegetables. Mamosa, shrimp rice cake (I forgot the name for it and potatoes are nice. There are oysters, mussels and shrimps for seafood. I saw no fruit or juice. I like they have milk. There is also a coffee machine with chocolate milk.

It was a wonderful buffet. Highly recommend for families and friends. Wide range of food available
