Romano's Macaroni Grill Auburn Hills

Food and Service were very good. We were disappointed to go for dinner on Christmas eve night and not one Christmas decoration was present. No tree, no greens, no Christmas flowers, nothing!

We had a party of four. Restaurant was out of the appetizer we chose, one of the meals, and another persons dessert. Service was mediocre at best and for the price I would have expected a better quality experience.

Our previous experience at Macaroni Grill-Auburn Hills had been good. However, this time everything that could go amiss seemed to. A poorly trained server, slow service, some food items under par, one completely inedible, when it came to light, the person who we believed to be the manager offered us two free deserts. Really? To little too late. I was treating my key staff members to a night our after a successful job in the area. Very disappointing in general. Things were so topsy turvy it felt like we had fallen into the rabbit hole! As we left, I discovered one of my male staff members had been pulled aside and apologized to by a gentleman who identified himself as the manager. He had been a few feet away from us most of the evening, yet didn't seem to feel it necessary to step up to the problems. What was doubly outrageous was he didn't seem to know that I, as a female had paid the bill. His regrets should have been directed to me! In all, this location seems to have serious management problems.
