Oak And Vine At Springside Inn - Auburn

I was here and wow on her second day after her reopening! I sat at the bar and Rachel took care of me very much. Not only did she keep my glass full, but also held me with good conversation. I started with a generous help from Calamari in a spicy tomato sauce that was amazing! I could only have filled it, but I knew I had to save space for Steak. I ordered the NY Strip that the head of Cuisine Carin had handcuffed. It was prepared with potatoes and a Bordelaise sauce. It was cooked for perfection and as recommended, I paired this with a beautiful glass Cabernet Sauvignon. Then, for the finale, I had the crème brûlée, which was a feast for the senses. Nicely represented, it came with a variety of berries, chocolate and creams. I can't wait to try some other things I saw as others order. In any case it is worth driving here for your next date night!

This place offered an absolutely excellent culinary experience. Both of our meals were perfect, presented beautiful and very full, the dessert was topnotch, and cocktails were very well balanced and delicious at the bottom right. While light on the pricier side, the experience, quality and service felt proportional to the bill.

I have enjoyed four different meals at this restaurant. My husband and I enjoy trying local places and this has certainly become one of our favorites. Meals are superb, with large portions. They have a changing menu which is very nice and comfortable seating. Our servers have always been attentive to our needs, and the atmosphere is casual/elegant. I really enjoy sitting outside in the summer when we go as they have nice patio dining as well. Most of all items on their menu can also be made gluten-free which is fabulous! The prices are reasonable for the dining experience in the food quality. They make their bread from scratch as well with local honey and butter. Love the spot!
