Parking is quite limited, with room for perhaps 6-8 cars. The restaurant is not much to look at, being a local eatery, with modest, rustic furnishings, wood-paneled walls and ceiling, and wine barrels as decorative items. There are runners on the tables, but no tablecloths. The restaurant also serves as grocery stores, with pasta, wine, olive oil and other supplies for sale. Nobody speaks anything but Italian and the menus (printed daily) are all in Italian too. The food is good, reflecting local culinary creations, service slow and basic. Prices are quite modest.
Not for those who have given in to the minimalism of post nouvelle cuisine. We ordered 2 house starters between 4 of us and they were both varied and more than sufficient: interesting and tasty. The mains were equally good and real portions. Unlike the few strands of parmesan you get in most places, the steak was lathered in cacciocavallo. Really good. Add attentive and friendly service and a superb house red, and you have a recipe for delight
After a wine tour at Dei Feudi Di San Gregorio, our diver (biagio) suggested this restaurant for truly authentic Italian food... This place does not disappoint! The people are great and the service is outstanding... There are so many courses it is easy to lose track.. But the one unforgettable item would be the meatballs. They were the best I have ever eaten.... At the end of the meal, Mama was nice enough to come out and take pictures with our group..... If ever in the area, this place is not to be missed.....
All'uscita dell'autostrada c'è questo posto ,mediocre . Lasciate perdere in zona c'è di meglio
