Southern Kitchen And Grill - Atlanta

I ordered on line from Southern Kitchen, for the first time today. The only issue really, after finally locating them was the French fries were so overly saturated in seasoning salt, so much so that I could not eat them, period!! The BBQ Pork Sandwich was yummy, although I was surprised to see that the pork was already sauced , since there was a choice for a sauce. I prefer mine on the side (I imagined it would be plain smoky grilled pulled pork AND slaw, but no slaw was on the sandwich, either as pictured or offered as an add on! Pretty disappointed for the amount I spent for a sandwich and fries, and picked up not delivered. I tipped, as well.I may try again and do some catfish...and request NO Salts!

Overall, the staff were great with engaging and answering questions related to the best selling desserts. Unfortunately, the food was not “nasty” but it lacked flavor. We had greens, cornbread, fish, pulled pork, mac cheese and baked beans.

Unfortunately, I feel I wasted my money. I was purchasing food for my employees and no one remotely liked our food. Hard catfish, dry brisket, bland gumbo. The garlic in the Garlic mash was completely raw. My team ate because they were hungry and needed to get back to work. We don't ordering from here again.

This food was drier than the Sahara desert. I literally farted dust. The gravy was so thick I mean thicker than the crime in Atlanta. The meatloaf was so moist I thought it was a red meaty velvet cake. The corn bread was flavorless and soulless like former speaker Kevin McCarthy. I don’t usually leave remarks or care about the amount we spent but this deserved it. And not for good reasons.

CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION ?????????????????????????????????????????????, I just door dashed me some fish, smoked wings and sidess TODAY BOUT A HOUR AGO, MANNN I DESERVE A REFUND OR TO COME IN AND GET A FREE MEAL BOUT THIS, THE FISH SALTY AS THE SEA, THE FISH WAS COOKED SO HARD IT TASTED LIKE I WAS BITING IN TO PORK CRACKLINS, SUCH A DISSAPPOIMENT, ITS ONE THING TO BE FRIED CRISPY BUT BRICK WALL CRUNCH IS ALL WRONG... BOTH FISHES JUST MESTED UP. THE SMOKED CHICKEN WAS BURNT, DRIED OUT, AND SO ROUGH. WHO EVER COOKED THIS DONT KNOW HOW TO COOK OR WAS HAVING A BAD DAY.. WHY EVEN PUT THAT HARD BRICK STUFF IN MY PLATE? 30 DOLLARS GONE TO WAIST ? IF I WASNT AT WORK N HAD A CAR I WOULD BRING IT BACK.By the way today is 10.6.2023 6:44 I received my food about 5:30pm. So I hope the manager know who made this glwash. ..
