Mercado - Atlanta

Food was so average. Disappointing. Everything covered in mayo. The margaritas were like sugar water and it costs $20 more to make the pitcher spicy. Seems hefty for some spice. I ordered a tostada twice and they dumped mayo on it and it was so salty asked for it without the mayo and they couldn't get it right. I gave up.

Chicken skewers and street corn were particularly good. Server was attentive and kind. Food was fast to the table. Great choice for a pre-Dad's Garage show. We easily had time to walk over.

There were 3 of us dining for taco night. The rice and beans side dish came out with the guacamole. Two of the three main courses came. The third never came until we alerted another server. The kitchen knew nothing about it and we were asked for the order again. The third person had to eat after we were done eating. Rice and beans were cold since we waited to eat them with the main dish. No apology from bar tender/server. If you can't remember the order by heart (which is understandable), please write it down. I have dined here many times. Always had a great experience so will make sure to give it another chance.

We've been to Bar Mercado many times but we had the best dinner and service on our last visit. We went on a Wednesday for dinner and had the pleasure of dining on the patio with our dogs. Our server (I can't remember her name, which makes me sad) but she was AMAZING! She was friendly, attentive and all around a pleasure to be around. Every employee from host, servers, food runners and so on were so friendly and made the experience top notch. We can't wait to come back and dine again!

The food and drinks surpassed our expectations. Cassie as a server highlighted our experience. Her knowledge of the offerings was in-depth and highly accurate. We are definitely looking forward to returning soon!
