Although there was a miscommunication with my order, my overall experience was great! The outdoor seating was a plus for those that wanted to dine outside. The vibe indoor was cool. Wasn't too pricey, could definitely see bringing my entire household. I personally had the pasta and Cesar salad and tried a slice of the pizza, it was all very good. I didn't try the calamari but those that did said it was good just a little under seasoned for their liking. All the orders that came out while there looked amazing! We will definitely come back!
Overall experience was great. They serve pasta, pizza and other types of unique food. My wife had their salmon meal..don't remember the name but it was well season and good, highly recommended! I had their seafood pasta, it was good but a little short on the seasoning. Good experience, friendly staff. I forgot to take pictures
Delicious comfort Italian food such as lasagna and Italian muffaletta, extraordinary pizza combos, grilled paninis, and a few Americano basics greet you at this East Atlanta restaurant! Today the little Italian granny that hides down inside my soul was craving a well-prepared risotto and Little Azio did not disappoint. Blackened salmon perfectly grilled and seasoned. Topped with fresh steamed spinach, and tomato, on a bed of buttery, creamy risotto. Bellissima!!! Run, don't walk, to Little Azio today and come enjoy the flavors!
Wife and I came in craving some spaghetti, and I 'm glad we did. They have a pretty decent assortment of pastas and pizzas. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs. Noodles were cooked perfect, the sauce was not overly pureed like alot of local 'Italian ' restaurants like to serve (where the sauce tastes like its just a puree out of a can, very thick and nasty). This sauce is a good tomato sauce, not too heavily seasoned, and the meatballs were plentiful and tasty. My wife had the spaghetti 'rustica ' which had Italian sausage and lots of zing, very flavorful and a nice change up from a regular sauce. They also have a small selection of wines It is a counter serve restaurant and they ask you to tip before your receive your meal which makes no sense to me, but staff are all friendly and welcoming. They do bring your food to the table and will bring extra items to you if you want/need. Except for the tip up front I liked the place, probably just order to go next time. Definitely my favorite spaghetti so far in the downtown area.
