High Velocity - Atlanta

2-16-2311Pm flight was late in Atlanta, so I had to cancel my dinner reservation that I made months ago. It still had to eat as we were hungry. We waited on a Thursday night just to come to this place that is located in the Marriott where we stay. Note that I only chose this hotel based on it is close to my dinner reservation, but that will be another review. Once our turn was waiting after 15 minutes to come to the hostess, they apologised and said sitting at the bar is the fastest way. Fortunately, we caught the last two available seats in a very large oversized bar. When our luck got better, our server immediately got drinks Hubby his Hendricks, Tonic and Kalk. My self I love a special cocktail, so I have what a peach. Server said it was sweet, I think it was right in a beautiful high glass. I ordered a burger with apple wood bacon and caramelized onions with mushrooms. It was actually a combination of two burgers offered. As remarkable as I never usually remain after him a certain way only on the menu as written. I'm so glad I did. The best burger ever! It was all you want in a burger-fruit potato bowl that had a brilliant finish on top. The skill of the meat cooked, as desired medium rarely. The taste of caramelized onions and mushrooms it sealed it is destiny to make it the best. You guessed what happened next, I had less than a fraction to go and just couldn't finish. I wanted so bad, but the Fritten skin on tried me so that I also ate some of them! Hubby had the grilled cheese brisket sandwich and he felt just like his meal. In any case, this burger would go and drink again! The best part of this trip so far.

Here in the store, the salmon had, with smoked corn, back eyes and baby Limas! It was delicious! State-of-the-art southern taste, best comfort life ever. I was told the whole menu was changed on Sunday. I look forward to trying more! Ambiance is what you expect loud, but the game is up and it is Duke snd UNC.

Pretty much your basic hotel sports bar but the food is sneaky good. Servers are very attentive and the beer selection is quite good with many local beers available.

Visited for dinner. Selected two of their sandwiches but replaced fries with salads. Pulled pork and fried chicken. Both sandwich were tasty, but not near the best we have ever had. House salads were large, dressing good. Service slow, but pleasant. Drinks were good, not great. Place was quiet, so we were not seated near others so felt comfortable without masks.

We stay in Marriott Marquee and Bernard is the bomb... if you have the opportunity to sit in his section, do that he was there. Great service and wonderful personality. I will definitely come back to see him especially
