Whitt's Barbecue - Athens

I know bbq is like ice cream, everyone has another taste, but a whitts sandwich is something everyone should try. according to my opinion, it is the perfect mix of moistness, suppleness and flesh. I wish I would live closer, I could be there every week.

Best bbq around. My most recent order was messed up but that doesn't mean I won't go back. Just count your sandwiches before you leave. My order was one short and I didn't realize it until I was halfway back to Huntsville.Yes, I drove from Huntsville to eat here. That should tell you how good it is. So you can imagine my disappointment when I reached for my 3rd sandwich and it wasn't there?.

Literally the best barbecue in Athens. I've never once had a problem with my food or the service. Pulled pork is what I usually get but the turkey is great as well. The loaded baked potato is to die for.

Go to barbecue place for a sandwich and the best sweet tea. Very good value I can eat for under 6 dollars

It's whites. What more can I say? The best pulled pork sandwich without a doubt.
