Court Street Diner - Athens

My husband and I love this place. We love how quaint and old fashioned it is and the food is delightful! They have the most amazing tater-tots that we just crave. We have gone on weeknights and weekends and it's hardly ever busy if you are looking for a yummy and fast, sit-down meal. Absolutely recommend it!

The experience was enjoyable—a classic diner atmosphere. You can either sit at the counter or a booth. Her milkshakes and burgers were tasty, and I appreciated the option to customize how I wanted my burger cooked, which is a nice touch. The menu offers a wide variety, so there should be something for everyone. Parking on the street can be a bit challenging during the day, so walking might be your best bet.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. I wasn't surprised that the shakes were delicious, as I had heard great things about them. I definitely recommend visiting if you're in the mood for something tasty! The food is fantastic and arrives quickly. The staff is also wonderful and works hard to ensure all their customers are satisfied!

I visited this restaurant on Wednesday morning for breakfast since the only option in Jackson where we were staying was Bob Evans. It turned out to be a decent choice for the price. I spotted "Cheesy Tater" on the menu and knew I had to try it, and it was substantial enough to be a meal on its own. I ordered the Eggs Benedict; the Hollandaise sauce had a slightly different flavor than what I'm used to, but it was still quite good. My husband tried the "Eye Opener" with cookies and gravy. While it's not the traditional Southern biscuits and gravy, they were generous with the sausage in the sauce, and we appreciated that.
