Athens Boathouse

Beautiful complex of Athens! Newly renovated with a light and open nautical theme with a beautiful view of the lawn and lake. Service is wonderful and fast! We sat in the dining room every time, but they have a separate room with a full bar and a petition door that could be closed for private functions. We cannot wait for cooler weather to enjoy the large outdoor dining area! Shrimp quesadillas were great, bacon wrapped jalapeño were delicious and spicy, seafood plated, catfish and fish tacos... all amazing!

Fantastic food excellent service friendly and efficient large relaxing yet fine dining room atmosphere. While we at Lake Athens RV Park all December and January, we have eaten here 2 3 times a week. We have tried many of the articles on the menu and have nothing under a 5 star! We had our Christmas dinner here and all 10 people were totally satisfied. The view of the lake is perfect and you can eat inside or outside. It is worth trying this place as soon as you come back.

I am so glad Athens has another place to eat and drink with several TVs to watch sports. The foods are great. The frozen margarita are right. The place is beautiful and perfect outdoor terraces. The owner is wonderful and attentive. And above all, it's right by the lake.

A large group of friends met on the terrace for conversations and friendship. The service was great and the food was delicious. You need to go to Athens boathouse and enjoy. Very recommended!

My wife and I had a great lunch at the Athens Boathouse. Destiny took care of us; she knew the menu inside and out and worked with my wofe’s Food allergy to order an amazing lunch. My wife had the fish tacos with beans and I had the burger with bacon potato salad. The entire meal was amazing. I’ve read reviews where it said prices were high but honestly the prices are in line with other quality non-fast food places locally. Go and enjoy. We’ll back back!
