To celebrate my daughter's birthday here on May 7, we wanted to go to PlayCe cafe 10 days in advance and make a reservation for 2 in the afternoon. The attendant told my husband that they did not make a reservation, but that there was always room at that hour and they would help us with this. Trusting this promise, we made a reservation from the nearby game center for 1 pm on the same day. After the end of the game at the Game center, we planned to go to the PlayCe cafe to celebrate. We prepared our invitations accordingly and sent them to my daughter's friends. A few days before my daughter's birthday, my husband called the cafe to see if everything was going well. Yes, there was a big problem. The cafe has switched to daylight saving time and the opening time has been changed to 4 in the afternoon. They never told us about it from the very beginning. If they had told us about the time change from the beginning, we would not have been in such a difficult situation. On the last day, we searched for a new venue for the party. I don't think I'll even pass by this cafe that has given us this negative situation again.

Fun board game cafe just outside Athens. Decent selection of board games to take off the shelf and play. Not a ton of new releases, but still enough variety for both euro fans and casual fans. The staff was very helpful at teaching the game, which kept me from having to touch the rulebook. They even have a decent selection of games in English. Small food menu, but it gets the job done!

Great variety of board games.game masters are always busy so be ready for long waiting.i totally disagree with the policy to order first in order to play,as they are already charging 1euro/person for the games.

Best board game coffee shop in athens. Nice staffs, good food, variety kind of games. Especially open until late 1 am. Perfect. Just mot easy to find a parking lot

If you like board games this is the playce to go. Excellent service and the staff is super helpful with choosing and explaining board games. Coffee was great and the atmosphere was vibrant! (Also to the staff: sorry for the broken glass in case you see this, thanks for being cool about it)
