Was great for the first year or so and then quickly went downhill food is mediocre shakes are now an artificial mess strawberry shakes used to have real strawberries in it. Not sure if there's different owners or what happened but I do not recommend this place at all. We went from going here maybe three times a week to once every 6 months
Was very excited to get the Habit in Atown, Santa Barbara being my first time. They opened up a beautiful new building right on the main drag, across from Vons. Every time I go, service is very slow, prices are high for fast food and the French fries are cold. My Chicken sandwich: flavorful, soft ciabatta bread, fresh tasting vegetables, great flavor with the savory/sweet grilled onions, yet was missing a lot of meat, an unacceptable amount. Onion rings were done perfectly, crunchy, salty, and warm. The fries were seasoned well, but we're lukewarm and soggy. The problem is, The Habit was considered one of the best fast food options. Between the long wait, $16 for a combo with barely any meat and soggy fries, and it all being lukewarm, no wonder it is a 2.5 star. Come on Habit! Standards and practices have to come up.
Best burger joint around. If you make a Habit of Habit Burger, you just might need to buy the next size up in jeans ? ?. You can't drive by without stopping because everything on the menu is
I've been a habit customer for years going back to before it franchised out of Santa Barbara into a larger chain. I was excited to see the Habit available in my home town on a recent trip to visit my parents. Unfortunately the value/quality just doesn't measure up. We had great service in the drive thru but the chicken sandwiches we ordered were incredibly small for the price paid. The chicken breasts even appeared to have been cut in half thickwise... The burger was decent but still $45 for 3 meals was just too much.
