The Naked Lemon - Astoria

My friend and I stopped this afternoon. Very nice place! And we shared a lemon cake/short bread contract. It was delicious! And the person at the counter (owner/backer) was beautiful, with vice versa.

The naked lemon is one of the best bakeries!!! I love this place! Everything is so delicious!

We really enjoyed it with Aleesha by The Naked Lemon for our wedding cake (and macarons! . She was great in communication, attention to detail, and made delicious wedding treats that eat people before we could even get a picture of their beautiful setup. She delivered the cake in time, mounted it while we were away photos, and made the process very easy. We are happy to eat the remaining cake we have in the freezer!

I think I tried almost every category of baked goods that makes the Naked Lemon. Everything from bread to cupcakes to scones, cookies and cakes were stellar. It is quite amazing that all these things are made and sold by a person!! Amazing. Delicious!

Anyone who gives The Naked Lemon less than 5 stars has absolutely no taste buds. In which case, I guess it's not really your fault. Aleesha is incredible at what she does and has a true gift for flavor some of her pairings I never would have thought of, yet they blend seamlessly. Astoria is so luck to have her and her bakery!
