Subway Carvel Ice Cream - Astoria

The store itself is not that big. You have two tables to dive. I think the price is higher than usual. The guy took my order. I bought a birthday cake. The taste is good enough. The store was clean. It has a huge parking lot that is a plus point.

I enjoy getting frozen soft parts in their freezers. Soft serve ice melts too fast, but the frozen are simply perfect.

This is a very good carvel I was around Carvels for my whole life and have learned some jump on the mix and some are generous. You can see the texture. There is a thickness to the texture and a more robust taste. The carriage is up there. It is worth traveling. They also have a very large range in their freezers. I can also fly bananas and pistachio sauces here

I often went to the Wednesdays for the two for a Sundae Special at this point. The service is usually good even if Sunday is not so great. But on this occasion Jose took care of my order. I could see how he took care of the way he prepared the order. The best way to describe it was that they actually saw the pictures you see in the ads. Jose's manner was so pleasant during this day before Thanksgiving, he took his time, made sure that he understood the order and the gates. I know, in the world where we live in all, it's fast to complain, I ask you to compliment Jose.

Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely come back just for their amazing service. Oh, and the ice cream, I guess. Would recommend. One employee in particular behind the counter was extremely cute, I would visit again purely for her. Place was wonderfully clean too. Definitely sticking to covid 19 regulations. Would recommend visiting.
