I go to a pub for 3 reasons. A steak, cold beer and to relax. The doors closed behind me and the latter started. The cold beer added to the relaxation but it wasn't until I had the first bite of the perfectly medium rare that I really felt like just saying stuff it!...I'll stay the rest of the afternoon.Thank you for the great service and a damned fine meal.

We had a wonderful experience at The Gap Tavern celebrating my husband's 75th Birthday.  The staff couldn't have been more helpful and even though there were 35 of us in the glassed off area of the Bistro, all our meals came out together.  The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meal.  The staff were  very obliging and were happy to provide knife and plates for our birthday cake.  Thank you for helping to make our evening such an enjoyable one.

The restaurant wasn't bad. I was surprised to see so many negative reviews about the food. Last night, we had bruschetta as a starter and rump steak and chicken parma as our mains. All three dishes were delicious. The steak, ordered rare, was cooked perfectly and very tender. The chicken parma was also very nice with good quality ham and just enough cheese, although the tomato sauce was a bit lacking. My husband's creamy garlic sauce on his steak was bland and tasted more like the steak than garlic. Despite it being busy on a Wednesday night, our food came out quickly within 15 minutes of ordering. The staff, although busy, were not rude. The only issue was with the POS system, which seemed to cause some difficulty in changing our drink order from Coke Zero to Diet Coke. As we were leaving, the head waiter came to check on us and overall, we were very happy with our dinner. We would definitely go back, maybe on a Tuesday night. Just a tip for future diners, be sure to bring a jumper as the open windows and air conditioning can make it a bit chilly.

Food amazing what a find. Had been craving beef Wellington for so long and yes found a place that not only make s it but makes it well. To finish had cherry cheesecake with a great cup of coffee. The service was quick but not to the point where you feel rushed out the door, plates were taken away after everyone had finished their food. Value for money only slightly more than two whopper meals at maccas. Great value and menu choice is amazing. Thanks for a great night

Wow the meals here are amazing . The menu is fantastic and it's like a la carte dining. Will definately be back.
