Shens Mediterranean Cusine - Ashford

I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The food was amazing, and the staff was so lovely. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in Ashford. I will definitely be returning next time I'm in town.

We are not adventurous eaters and our waitress was very pleasant and patient with us explaining what was in the dishes, how they were cooked etc. We sat in a booth, nice and private so we could have a conversation. An appetizer was brought out for us to nibble on, flatbread, dip and carrot and celery sticks, while waiting for our food which came in a timely manner. We both chose avocado and prawns as a starter, followed by two different lamb dishes, both came piping hot and nicely presented. The portions are large! It was my wife's birthday and the staff placed a lit candle in her piece of cheesecake and sang Happy Birthday, what a lovely touch.

This is definitely our favorite restaurant in Ashford. We recently introduced our children, aged 21 and 18, to it and they both loved it and can't wait to go back. Great job, Shen! xx
