Taqueria Munoz - Asheville

I saw the woman behind the counter my tortillas. Every place where I can get cattle tongue, cheek and chicharrones tacos is straight up legit. No matter that 75% of people eating there were Mexican, that is the sign of a good Mexican restaurant. The meat was well seasoned and also amazingly tender. Great salsa bar. The best quality tacos in town for half price of hipster places.

This place is in place! If you are looking for imagination, this is not your place, but if you want delicious authentic food, It is definitely the place to be in Asheville. Best Mexican cuisine!

New Mexican here. I have lived in North Carolina for 15 years and this is the best, most authentic Mexican taqueria I tasted!

I ate here for the first time last Saturday and loved it so much I went back yesterday (Tuesday). I got 3 tacos and a sopes both times, and loved all, but the lengua (which was not bad, I'm just used to preparing it differently). The Cabeza is amazing, I had never tried, but in any case it will order regularly now what I have. The tacos are much bigger than I expected. I have tried the pastor, Asada, Carnitas, Lengua and Carnitas so far and look forward to Tp trying the Tamalees. I love the spice bar! Can't surpass this authentic Mexican food, it's my new favorite Mexican restaurant.

Quality food at a good price. I've tried a pork torta sandwich, chicken tamale, a steak taco so far at the Patton avenue location. All were great. I'll definitely be back in the future.
