Salsa Mexican Caribbean - Asheville

The food here was delicious. This is one of the few places where I got fresh lemonade from fresh lemons and not just a syrup. Chicken Burrito was full of chickens and shrimps. Taste and quantity have both ranked top.

Late lunch at salsas. I had the special blackened grouper, fantastic, pinto beans fresh avocado, yellow rice, sauteed vegetables, chimachurra sauce. the blackened grouper was fresh, moist, perfectly cooked. My wife had the chicken fajitas. They were marvelous and could not have been better.

Very busy but so worth the wait. It's a small little spot, so you're going to have to wait for a table, but it's worth it. Everything you see coming out of the kitchen looks fantastic, and they have many vegetarian/ vegan options on the menu. I got the Chef's Vegetarian Plate, and it was delicious, so full of flavor and large a serving of food. It was wonderful. If you're looking for a good selection of flavorful foods, this is the place for you.

I've written over 500 reviews, and I can confidently say that this is the best restaurant I've ever dined at! My friend couldn't stop raving about the food here. This isn't your typical Mexican restaurant; instead, it offers a diverse menu that feels like a "South American Food Tour." The prices were fantastic—we shared margaritas and enjoyed generous "two-meal" size plates, all for just $80. There were cheaper options available, but we opted for some truly delightful dishes! The staff was also exceptional—friendly and attentive, with our food arriving in no time. Our drinks were served in under five minutes, and we had our meals within 15 minutes of sitting down. The photos speak for themselves!

Unfortunately, the service was quite slow. Our waiter was friendly, but we only saw him about every 15 minutes. Additionally, I found it somewhat ridiculous that the only water they offered was bottled and charged at $4.50 each, and we weren’t informed of this until we received the bill. It would have been nice to receive a heads-up about the charge for water, especially considering the food was on the pricier side (but definitely worth it!). All in all, I would certainly return for the food and make sure to secure a table outside. Thanks, Salsas!
