Bidra med feedbackStaff seemed eerily nice. I got a burger but it was mediocre at best. Service was slow and it wasn't that crowded. Glad to see the owner is extremely sarcastic...I realize it is an Italian restaurant and I got a burger. Not really the best choice. Not here to crucify your business, only give my point of view. I would love to try your Italian when I have more time. The burger that I did have tasted like it was made entirely out of garlic. Again I realize this is an Italian/greek restaurant and a burger was surely not the best choice as it was scantily topped with toppings as well as small in size for a burger of that price. The wait staff was seating people at tables that weren't even cleaned and they had to rapidly clean them so people could sit down. My table was cleaned with sanitized as I was sat down at it. Hence why I said it wasn't that busy but service was not that great. Maybe a front of house manager and training would greatly help your staff. Fries were good. Thank you for your professionalism by not criticizing my truth.
My party ordered a seafood pasta, cheese pizza, chicken fingers, and fries. The seafood pasta was good, but it would have been better if more scallops, mussels, and shrimp were in it. Two scallops, five mussels, and three shrimp were not quite enough at that price point. The pizza was okay, but not stellar. The chicken fingers were overcooked, so much that the batter was dark brown and the inside was nearly dry. The table service was good, but could have been slightly more frequent. The ambiance was above average, but not high-end. Parking: Ample parking Kid-friendliness: Safe for children, with a decent kid's menu. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp in front and back.
My wife and I just moved to the Haw Creek area and we were so pleased to find a wonderful Italian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, seasoned perfectly even if I did add a little salt and pepper to my own taste, and the service was spectacular. The whole restaurant has a rustic and homey feel, much like you used to find around the country before everything went modern. This place is a must visit for locals!
My granddaughter and I drove from Sylva to Asheville, specifically to try this restaurant. The Greek appetizers spanakopita and saganaki were out of this world. The spanakopita is not made in-house, but it is perfect- light airy lovely. My granddaughter had Tuscan Chicken, which had a Parmigiano wine sauce- great flavor, the chicken itself was lackluster. I ordered veal Parmigiano, the sauce was too acidic , all chopped tomatoes but nothing that would stick to the spaghetti. The veal was a bit chewy, I would have beat it thinner to break up the meat fibers. This is a more rustic type of sauce. There was good flavor. We can't wait to return and try their pizza, which looked great. Our server, Oscar was extraordinary! He is 5 stars! Very professional, knows the food and his way around a dining room, likely a kitchen too.
This is the kind of place where you walk in and from the smell of the food cooking you know it will be good. The selection on the menu was good and the food was great. The patio looked nice and our server was very attentive. The location is a little out of the way, but it is worth finding them. Parking: Plenty in front of the door.
