Mikado Japanese Steak House - Asheville

Yeah, so they've lost something since our last visit two years ago. Carrots were soft, rice was boiled a bit and the salmon was not very delicious. I was with my wife and two sons in the cookery so I could get my information about her.

We came every time we were in Asheville. Then Covid met. When we went recently, no one was in the parking lot. And no one was in the restaurant. I really hope they're okay. Yes, the building is old, but unlike that, I can't see why it would be empty. The food was hot and fresh and of good quality. There wasn't sushi tonight, which was sad, but with only one cook and one waiter I can understand. 3 individual people went in and ate as we were there. The owner was there. We recognized him. It is a little expensive $17.99 for chicken teriyaki). They always had better lunches.

Staff was friendly and service was very fast.. Food was excellent

We met there for a family dinner and it was fantastic. The cook was fun and committed. The children loved him. The staff was friendly and friendly. We weren't rushed and could sit as a family for as long as we wanted. This is by far the best Hibachi experience I ever had. Thank you to the boss and the staff. You rock!

I have to say that this is one of my favorite restaurants to go to for hibachi! The clear soup is amazing. I've always ordered hibachi every time I've been here.
