Leo's Italian Social Asheville

Overall OK. Restaurant decor was nice. Food was cold. Service was good.

Great experience for our first time at Leo's!! Unique menu and excellent service. I had an issue with a bit of undercooked chicken, but not a problem our server immediately took it off the bill. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. It is a fairly large dining room, but the furnishings and arrangement with the room made it quiet and comfortable. We need a Leo's in Nashville TN! I want to be the first to know. Thanks for your hospitality!!

The food was good without being exceptional. I would rate it above Olive Garden, but not much beyond that. If you happen to be going to the movies or shopping in the area, it's a decent option but not somewhere I would travel to again for dinner. However, their smoked old fashioned is definitely something to get if you do go.

My entre was terrible. 4 x 2 inches of dry linguini with 4x 2 inches of chicken on it. On chicken two slivers of mushroom, on mushroom tasteless white sauce, on sauce about 50 capers. Next to this 6 halved cold grape tomatoes. Called scallopini. Server was business office polite. Mr Jones will see you now affect. In defense of this place I observed other friendlier servers. Spinach artichoke appetizer was soup like consistency. Caesar salad was good but tiny. Not on my repeat list.

Our server was great!! I asked to substitute the chicken on the scallopini for veal which she happily did but I guess I was expecting it to be braised instead of fried. I think they just took the fried veal on the veal Parmesan and put it on my plate with the caper sauce. Good try but didn’t really hit the mark.
