Coolabah Tree Cafe - Ascot

The brekky deal with bacon and egg roll, hash brown used to be a good deal but price has gone up and quality way down. Brekky roll was soggy from being wrapped in foil and left in the hot box way too long, the hashbrown was a tiny joke. Coffee was ok but I used be a regular there, they are cutting corners to make it easier for them but never again. When I gave my feedback to the manager I just work here and do as Im told . Not good enough and he didnt give a toss. Better going next door to Maccas!!!

Stopped in for breakfast at the Coolibah Tree Cafe while on holiday, Got a great brekfast deal .....Bacon and Egg Roll. Hash Brown and a Coffee for $10.95 That was a real deal !!!!! The food was delicious and the coffee HOt and 5 star ! Great service too with a BIG smile ! We will return next time we are travelling through. Well done Coolibah Tree Cafe !!

In an attempt to avoid Maccas, I tried this option. The bacon, egg and hashbrowh roll was cold and completely tasteless; small tub of crackling was dry(dead) and void of flavour and salt (couldn’t eat it) At least the bottle of coke was cold, hence the one star. All for $19. Stick with Maccas.

I travel every fortnight from Sunshine Coast to Tweed Heads and look forward to my stop here on the way back for lunch. Every employee I’ve dealt with has been friendly and always happy. The food is great; this time I had a steak sandwich with the lot awesome value. The highlight for me though is the thick shakes. These are amazing and for less than $7 the best value. I believe Dorothy should get a raise for her preparation of these thick shakes. She must pour lots of love into these babies because I can’t get enough of them. Dorothy you are a star and we love your attitude smile and customer service but most of all your skill with thick shakes. You need a raise!

Thought I'd try the take away there instead of McDonald's surely their coffee must be better? Nope I ordered a large cap which had 2 shots I paid for an extra shot. Took it back too milky weak. Politely Queried how many shots I got got a stern one word answer X 3 with no eye contact. She reluctantly made me another coffee but I had to tell her to restrict the amount of milk so as it would have some coffee taste. I'd already paid for 3 shots right didn't want to pay for 4 that's just ridiculous right? Then the egg bacon roll wasn't even toasted it was quite pathetic. One small biscuit, a coffee a roll cost $14.95. The stressed attendant yelled in front of customers waiting in a not very nice voice that she wanted help from out the back to help serve. From a customer perspective observing these harsh attitudes I'm glad I'm. It the owner because the staff need to be more customer friendly focused the food beverage is very average. I guess I'll just stick with McDonald's again next time I stop at that roadhouse.
