Brumby's - Ascot

Brumby's drew the short straw with this review, as their fruit scones - which hopefully will be covered another time, another place - are beautiful. The real short straw, however, was drawn by me and the Mrs, as the plain scones we picked as an alternative because the fruit ones had all gone, were a real shocker. Basically, fruitless, floundering and falling apart, they lacked all the qualities of the fruit scone and it seemed as if there was an issue with the mix, as the texture and feel was nothing close to that of the aforementioned. Truly disappointing.

The ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars was because their Sourdough was very very weak.

Brumby’s drew the short stroh with this evaluation, as their fruit-sweet, which are hopefully covered another time, another place is beautiful. the actual short straw was pulled by me, however, and the woman, as the simple ones we chose as alternative, because the fruits were all gone, were a real shocker. in the ground, fruitless, flowering and falling apart, they lacked all the qualities of the fruit cane and it seemed as if there was a problem with the mix, as the texture and the feeling was nothing near the above. really disappointing.
