The Robinson Ale House Asbury Park

The food at this restaurant is consistently good, but the service was lacking during my visit. Despite typically sitting at the bar for better service, we were seated at a table due to lack of availability. While our server was friendly, they were not attentive and moved slowly throughout the evening. Busboys walked past our table without clearing our finished plates or refreshing our drinks. We waited a long time for our water glasses to be refilled and were not checked on at any point. Even when I requested oil and vinegar, it arrived after I had finished eating and was left on the table untouched. As a former server, I believe that all staff should work together to ensure all tables receive proper attention.

Very disappointed in the raw bar. Crab meat did not taste good at all. Clams and oysters were just ok. Cocktail sauce didn't taste good either.

The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! I came here for lunch before, but this was my first time having dinner here. I highly recommend it.

Got the hot honey chicken sandwich. Flavor on it was great but the chicken itself was VERY dry. Could have benefited from either a sauce on the chicken/bun, or being cooked just a minute less

Our exoerience at Robinsons was delightful. We had a full view of the ocean, a wide variety of delicious food, attentive and friendly service, There were many choices for our gluten-free family and our vegetarian family. We were kept watered the entire time. Who could ask for more? Thankcyou, Robinsons.
