Bidra med feedbackMy friends and I have lawful drinking. Our vertical Pennsylvania IDs were denied upon request of a drink. We were told that there is a policy against acceptance; it was not posted anywhere. Very upset that our REAL IDs were denied. A disappointing experience. We went to order without food.
Would not recommend. Waited over an hour for our food. They give you a spoon of sour cream and then wanna charge you a dollar extra for more. Poorly seasoned steak in tacos. Use gyro meat in the fajitas even though the menu says skirt steak. Didn?t even get our drinks while we waited for our food. Food was cold. Would literally never come back.
We've been looking for a good mexican restaurant since our favorite on on route 35 closed down. I think this could be our meeting favorite. Shrimp in garlic cream sauce was excellent. Bistek enchiladas were also very good. Great food store next door if you like cooking mexican food at home. Super friendly staff even if they didn't speak English, they still tried to help us (in the market. Restaurant was not an issue). We'll be back.
I really enjoy Plaza Tapitia, but I can’t comprehend how anyone would package Mexican food containers standing upright in a bag. My order arrived in a complete mess, and unfortunately, most of it ended up being thrown away.
A hidden gem on the main road in Asbury. It might be a bit tricky to find the entrance since Plaza Tapatia also houses a grocery store and a liquor store. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and offers phenomenal drinks; my friend claimed it was the best margarita she’s ever had (I’m a fan of the Michelada). The menu is extensive, and I struggle to pick a single dish to mention because every time I visit, I try something new and am always impressed. The guacamole is exceptionally fresh, and the salsa and chips served before the meal are so delicious that they might fill you up before dinner even starts. I can't recommend this place enough!
