The Old Stables - Arun

I've been here a lot. Food and staff very well and we were not disappointed. Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful Will goes there in the future.

The three of us enjoyed our lunch. We were impressed by our waitress who asked if there were any specific nutritional requirements that the cook had to know. She was attentive without being too much. I already recommended it for 2 separate people.

It was a nice evening and good food. The only thing was that we used the Fork app, and I had an email confirming our reservation, an email to confirm that we were going the day before, and the day I answered and when we arrived there was no booking. Luckily I showed them my emails and they have us in., so you might want to call the restaurant just to make sure that this could have been terrible, especially as it was my birthday meal.

We arrived shortly after 5.30 for a 6.00 booking and the place was quite empty. The staff made us very welcome and the service was top-class. The meal exceeded our expectations, and the selection of drinks was more than sufficient. The necklaces of the chain can sometimes be a bit down, but the old stables were clean, well maintained and very accessible. Many parking spaces and nothing to distract from our pleasure.

Not the first visit and it certainly won't be the last. Very pleasant ambience, great food and well looked after by Harry and Keira. Many thanks to you both.
